Lyrics

December's here and still feels like the fall.
The weather's smart. He denies it all.
No matter where I go, there isn't any snow
and these trains and planes can't take me far enough away.

So Santa I don't want any toys
or phone calls from any other boys.
The one I love has left me and chosen to pretend
so put me on Spring Island once again...

We're forced now to reflect on things that have been.
Oh December, how I thought you were my friend.
And just when the road, i thought, became one too
all the places that I run lead me to you.

So Santa I don't want any toys
or phone calls from any other boys.
The one I love has left me and chosen to pretend
so put me on Spring Island once again...

And what a stupid thought to try to live a normal life...
be a wife, a mom, or hope you'd come around...
but there's a small amount of time that love was on my side
and for once I finally want what we have found.

So Santa I don't want any toys
or phone calls from any other boys.
The one I love has left me and chosen to pretend
so put me on Spring Island once again...
